Gift Boxes

Oversized gift boxes do a particular job in a commercial display: they fill floor space at the base of a tree, mark an entrance, or build a photo stop, and they do it without the fragility of a prop that has to be roped off. They are also one of the few pieces that read as decoration from a distance and as a photo backdrop up close.

This collection covers both scales. Decorative boxes run from 12 inches to 48 inches, in red, burgundy, green, blue and purple, which is the range that works around a tree base or stacked along a window line. Lit fiberglass boxes and stack displays go larger, up to around 10 feet, and those are the pieces that anchor a plaza or a mall court on their own.

Where they usually go. Around the base of a commercial tree to hide the stand and fill the footprint. At entrances and lobby thresholds, where a stack gives height without needing floor depth. In photo areas, because the scale reads well in a phone camera and the shapes survive being leaned on. Along window lines and atrium edges, where a repeated size looks deliberate.

Choosing sizes. Around a tree base, mix two or three sizes rather than using one, because a single repeated size looks like packaging rather than decor. For a standalone display, work from the space: a stack that reads well in a 20 foot atrium will look lost outdoors in a plaza, where the larger fiberglass pieces belong.

Indoors and outdoors. Lit fiberglass boxes are built for outdoor display on commercial-grade construction. For anything placed where the public can reach it, think about how it is secured and how foot traffic moves around it, particularly at a photo stop.

Pre-decorated and in-stock items can ship as quickly as the next business day, while larger custom work should be started 3 to 6 months ahead. Most oversize pieces ship by LTL freight, quoted for the specific order.
